The king of the sprawl in my fuzzy embrace,
Submerged within the cushions as if a comfy armchair mace.
Chips at my side,
Remote as my guide,
I rule the pixels and snacks and have at last found my place.

Old Sol, sweet fiery clown in the sky,
Painted clouds orange, pink, and oh my!
A flamingo flock below in pirouette,
“Look, darling!” one sang, “Such sweet light!”
The sun chuckled, winked, and bid them good-bye. -
In the year-end holiday craze,
Families in festive arrays,
With joy and with cheer,
They gather each year,
In merriment’s heartwarming haze. -

There once was a man quite sly,
Who claimed he could never tell a lie.
But in life’s great twist,
He was caught in the midst,
Of fibs that reached up to the sky. -
There once was a shopper online,
Whose clicks were exceedingly fine.
With a cart full of glee,
They clicked ‘buy,’ oh so free,
And awaited for sweet treasures to shine. -
In a world where the pixels align,
Gaming culture lives in a realm so divine.
With controllers in hand,
And a headset that’s grand,
Our digitial homes where were all intertwined! -
In the dawn’s early light, we recall,
Anzac’s standing so brave, one and all.
Their courage and might,
In the midst of the fight,
In our hearts, their memory won’t fall.

Where formulas dance to the beats,
I click and I drag,
My data’s in a bag,
Excel’s magic, my work’s always neat!

Trapped within a grey walled hellscape,
I feel a man reduced, more of an ape.
My eyes locked to the clock,
Watching as if I’m a hawk.
Fully prepared to make my escape.
