I host a banquet of excess to gluttony’s delight,
As laden tables groan in such extravagant light.
Indulgence draped in hues of yellow and gold,
A tale of abundance, yet hazards untold.
Arrogance feasts with a voracious appetite,
As glistening goblets overflow in the night.
Excesses whispers in my opulent hall,
Where gluttony reigns, and restraint takes its fall.
Yellow, the hue of desire unabated,
At my banquet’s glow, souls are sated.
A feast of plenty, such a perilous trail,
As gluttony’s hunger will surely prevail.
The gilded chariot of indulgence rolls,
In the labyrinth of greed a demon patrols.
A deceptive veil is held aloft arrogance’s face,
As excess and abundance weave their embrace.
A cautionary tale in hues so bright,
Of indulgence’s failure of those left in the light.
